MagneSafe Mini USB Secure Card ReaderThe MagneSafe™ Mini is a secure magstripe card reader from MagTek® offered in a traditional 100 mm footprint. It is specifically designed to meet PCI-DSS requirements to secure cardholder data via encryption. The MagneSafe Mini is self-powered from the USB port, and can be connected to any Windows PC with a USB interface. Using DUKPT Key management and triple DES encryption, the reader encrypts all cardholder data. It automatically sends the card data to PayPal’s Virtual Terminal software. The card does Bi-directional card reading and reads multiple tracks of card data. This card reader includes 25,000 encryption cycles and for each card swipe it uses single encryption cycle.
