Wireless 5620 Multi-Mode Gobi Mobile Broadband Mini-CardThe Dell™ Wireless 5620 Gobi Mobile Broadband Mini-Card uses both EVDO (Evolution Data Optimized) and HSDPA (High Speed Data Packet Access) technologies in one card. This technology is called Gobi. The service provider determines whether the card operates in EVDO or HSDPA. In addition, whether a SIM card is need or not is also determined by the technology. EVDO service providers do not require a SIM; HSDPA service providers must have a SIM. This product has been tested and validated on Dell systems. It is supported by Dell Technical Support when used with a Dell system.
