Overview
The Dell™ Remote Access Card DRAC 4/P is a systems management solution designed to provide remote management capabilities for Dell PowerEdge™ systems. DRAC 4 solutions are designed to help server administrators enhance productivity and improve the overall availability of Dell servers. This is achieved by enabling remote server management and by reducing the need for the administrator to visit the server so that problems may be solved real-time. Key functions include Server status monitoring and fault alerting. The system also allows remote console operation regardless of the state of the operating system. Featuring remote media access including floppy, CD, USB memory and remote power up/down and reset, the DRAC 4/P system is a brilliant tool for the administrator. DRAC 4/P is a short PCI card form factor and is designed to operate in the PowerEdge R200 / 840 / 860 / 6800 / 6850 Servers. This product has been tested and validated on Dell systems.
