Overview
The Intel® PRO/1000 MT Dual Port Server Adapter provides two Gigabit copper server connections in a single PCI slot. This adapter enables you to conserve valuable PCI slot space in servers, eliminate server bottlenecks, increase uptime and migrate existing CAT5 networks to Gigabit Ethernet easily. The Interrupt Moderation feature increases throughput and reduces CPU utilization. Advanced Cable Diagnostics dynamically test and report various network problems. The PRO/1000 offers remote management features which include WfM, DMI 2.0, and SNMP. The Intel® ANS software increases uptime with redundant, teamed connections and scales bandwidth by balancing network traffic across multiple server connections.
