The QLA2342-E-SP SANblade® 2 Gbps Dual Port Fiber Channel to PCI-X Host Bus Adapter (HBA) from QLogic® offers two independent channels of 2 Gbps Fiber Channel combined with 64-bit, 133 MHz PCI-X. Enabling double IOps with a PCI-X slot, the QLA2342-E-SP eliminates host bottlenecks that impede the high performance of 2-Gbps Fiber Channel. Based on single-chip fiber channel controller architecture, the HBA optimizes bandwidth. The EMC® certified Host Bus Adapter integrates a RISC processor, a Fiber protocol engine and transceivers into a single FC controller chip that enhances reliability and performance by lowering CPU utilization.
