Overview
The Smart 16e Controller Card Upgrade from ADTRAN® upgrades Smart 16 shelves to Smart 16e. The card is used to configure and control all devices installed in the shelf. Up to 15 shelves may be daisy-chained and controlled locally or remotely by a VT100 terminal attached to the card. Additionally, it features SNMP management capability and provides both SLIP and 10BaseT Ethernet ports. The Smart 16e Controller Card upgrades both 1st and 2nd generation shelves.
