The SD216 Switch from Linksys® provides 16 10/100 Mbps ports to increase your network traffic's speed. Ideal for integrating 10 Mbps Ethernet and 100 Mbps Fast Ethernet devices, this switch sports a compact case design, by virtue of which it easily fits into your workgroup environment. Each of the 16 ports of this switch feature automatic MDI/MDI-X crossover detection that eliminates the hassle of trying to detect each cable type. With auto-negotiating capabilities, the ports independently negotiate for optimal speeds, and whether to run in full or half duplex mode – resulting in up to 200 Mbps of bandwidth per port. The store-and-forward switching technique prevents damaged packets from being passed on into the network. With features like address learning and aging, store-and-forward switching and data flow control, the SD216 16-Port 10/100 Switch facilitates high-speed data transfers with enhanced transmission reliability.
