Overview
The APC's UPS Network Management Cards provide management of an individual UPS by connecting the UPS directly to the network with a dedicated IP address, avoiding the need for a proxy such as a server. Its embedded technology provides excellent reliability and enables the UPS to reboot hung equipment. This card empowers users to manage each APC UPS individually via Web browser, Telnet or SSH and also set the card's system time by using a Network Time Protocol (NTP) server. The authentication and encryption features help ensure effective access control and integrity for SSL browser and SSH sessions. For protected servers, the included PowerChute Network Shutdown software provides graceful, unattended shutdown in the event of an extended power outage.
