Offering both the standard 4:3 aspect ratio and the 16:9 widescreen TV aspect ratios, the XL2 opens the door for multiple production options with the same camera. It features Master RGB control that offers 13 steps of adjustment each to the red, green and blue components of the video signal — giving you beautiful images that deliver natural-looking tones and vivid color. Featuring an electronic viewfinder that is convertible between a standard eyepiece and a 2.0” high resolution LCD, the XL2 makes it easy to compose sensational shots. Similarly, Canon's optical stabilization system corrects camera shake instantly so even hand held shots, at full telephoto, and shots taken from a moving car, are smooth and steady.
