The SRW2016 16-Port 10/100/1000 Gigabit Switch from Linksys® is a rack-mountable device that delivers non-blocking, wire speed switching for your network clients. It features 16 10/100/1000 ports that wire up your workstations, and two mini GBIC ports that allow expansion to alternate transmission media like optical fiber for your backbone. Featuring a fully rack mountable design, all ports feature automatic MDI/MDI-X crossover detection that eliminates the hassle of trying to detect each cable type. With the MAC Address table providing support for up to 8 K MAC address entries, this versatile, high-performance SRW2016 switch also boasts of WebView monitoring and configuration via your Web browser. This feature helps to simplify the management of up to 64 VLANs and up to 8 trunking groups. Each port independently and automatically negotiates for speed, whether to run in half- or full-duplex mode. Its Head-of-line blocking prevention keeps your high-speed clients from bogging down in lower-speed traffic and fast store-and-forward switching prevents damaged packets from being passed on into the network. Additionally, the SRW2016 is bundled with a rack-mountable kit and AC power cord. With all these features and more, the SRW2016 gives you enhanced flexibility and reliability in Gigabit network environments.
