Download and edit your digital video (DV) with the easy to use Port Authority FireWire PCI Controller. Port Authority, by Cables To Go™, allows you to easily add three 400 Mbps 1394 ports to your PC or Apple desktop computer. The Port Authority FireWire PCI Controller is a 32-bit card with three 400 Mbps 1394 ports. Each port handles up to 400 Mbps, which are fully hot-swappable and daisy-chainable up to 63 devices. Supported under Windows (98 SE/ME/2000/XP) and Mac OS X /9.0.4 and higher, the Port Authority FireWire PCI Card enables your computer to take advantage of today's high-speed FireWire devices, such as DV cameras/camcorders, hard disks, scanners, set-top boxes and other high-tech appliances.
