The LTO Ultrium 2 Tape Library Drive Module from OVERLAND DATA takes your backup to new levels of performance, data protection, and non-stop operation. Featuring SCSI LVD interface, it supports LTO Ultrium 2 recording format. This module uses a second drive to double the speed of your backups from 86 GB/hr (native) to 172 GB/hr (native), or faster with compression. The second drive enables the tape-to-tape copy function found in most backup software packages. As a result, one tape can be stored on-site and another off-site for ultimate data protection.
