The 8’ shielded cable also includes the traditional Composite connections for use with standard definition TVs. It facilitates high-definition gaming output of 720p or 1080i and Progressive-scan DVD playback in 480p. The Component HD AV Cable also provides Dolby® Digital 5.1 Surround Sound output and Component (Y, Pr, Pb) high-definition video output.
