The Visual SourceSafe® 2005 from Microsoft Corporation® is an easy-to-use solution for developers who want a simple way to manage changes to their source code. The version control system helps track source code changes and allows developers to roll back any changes that later create problems. As your team expands and needs change, Visual SourceSafe® 2005 projects can seamlessly migrate to Team Foundation Server. It allows you to track versions of entire projects, as well as modular code, where one file is reused or shared by multiple projects. Additionally, it allows you to easily return to a previous version of a file.
