It includes an eight Channel Audio Output with 10-Band Equalizer. The featured PCI 2.2 interface supports bus mastering and burst modes. With the 7.1 virtual speaker shifter one can experience DVD Theater Surround Sound with Concert hall special effects. Additionally, it supports 24-bit playback and 16-bit recording along with provision for connection to home audio equipments. With the included Audacity software you can record live audio through a microphone, or line in on the Xtreme Sound card. You can also import sound files as well as export recordings in several common file formats, such as WAV and MP3 with the XtremeSound 7.1 Sound Card.
