The Avocent Emerge MS1000P media streamer extends stereo audio and analog video from point to destination up to 500 feet over Cat-5 cabling. It requires no special software or operating system support, just plug in the MS1000P hardware and the A/V extension solution is ready to go. The Emerge MS1000P media streamer consists of a transmitter and receiver pair. The transmitter is located at the source of the multimedia content. At the destination, the receiver connects directly into the output device which can include a plasma screen, projector or monitor. The design of the Emerge MS1000P media streamer guarantees highly reliable, high quality audio and video especially important for digital signage installations.
