The SATA II PCIe RAID from SIIG® is an ultra high-speed two channel Serial ATA Generation II RAID controller for use in PCI Express enabled systems. PCI Express 1-lane (x1) SATA II adapter works with PCI Express slots with different lane width. With support for SATA hard disk hot-plugging, this SATA II adapter provide a convenient way to add high speed, high capacity hard disk drives. With data transfer rates of up to 3.0 Gbps it also supports Native Command Queuing (NCQ) and SATA TCQ commands. Compliant with Serial ATA 1.0a specification, this Card also supports RAID 0 (stripe) for performance and RAID 1 (mirror) for data reliability.
