Enjoy Skype™ calls wirelessly, without the hassle of using your computer with Belkin® Wi-Fi® Phone. It features the Skype interface, so it’s ready for use with any wireless network. To make a call, simply use the intuitive, on-screen color menu to locate your contacts and view their online availability. Once you power up, you can easily configure your Wi-Fi® Phone to connect to an access point of your choosing. The auto-connect feature allows the Phone to connect to the first available access point. You can also set up an access-point profile to connect to only the networks that are in your preferred list of SSIDs. Finally, you can use the Phone to connect to any access point either through the WLAN finder or by inputting a hidden SSID manually. The Phone adheres to all Skype™ requirements and ensures you a Wi-Fi® experience that works as seamlessly as Skype™ works over your computer. Use it anywhere in the world through secured or open access to a Wi-Fi network. You can make and receive calls at home, at your office, in cafés, or through municipal access. Anywhere you can connect without browser-based authentication, you can make Skype™ calls. The Wi-Fi Phone supports Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA) and WPA2 with pre-shared keys (PSKs) to keep your conversation secure. WPA supports Temporal Key Integrity Protocol (TKIP) while WPA2 supports Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) encryption. Compatibility with wireless networking standards 802.11b/g allows a user to connect to WLAN network and to hotspots around the world.
