The 16-Port KN2116 CAT-5 KVM Over the Net Switch from Aten Technology offers an efficient network management solution. In addition to its console ports for local management, the KN2116’s built-in LAN port provides 2 network administrators the ability to control up to 128 computers connected to the network. Network administrators can work from anywhere in the office, remote locations, or even from home. There is no need to pre-install any software, simply load your browser and launch the Windows/Java Client from within the browser to access your KN2116. The CAT5 CPU connections and video technology allows servers to be placed up to 40 meters away and still maintain high video resolution. It gives IT managers the flexibility to manage their systems. The KN2116 offers features such as an intuitive OSD (On Screen Display), Hot Keys, optimum video resolutions, Multi-Session visual capability (Panel Array Mode), flash ROM for firmware upgrades. Additionally, it features 3-level password-protected security for administrators, 128-bit SSL encryption, IP and MAC Filters, Automatic Logout for protection during idle sessions.
