Copper Gigabit Fail-Open Kit includes items necessary to support gigabit copper fail-open for McAfee IntruShield 2600, 2700, 3000, 4000 or IntruShield 4010 GBIC and mini-GBIC (SFP) ports. Kit includes: Gigabit copper fail-open switch, Compact flash controller for IntruShield, Cable from compact flash controller to gigabit copper fail-open switch, Rack-mounting hardware, Four 3-meter RJ45 - RJ45 cables for connecting the switch to the peer network device and to the sensor, One 3-meter RJ45 - RJ11 cable for connecting the Bypass Switch to a built-in sensor Fail-Open Control Port (I-3000 and I-4010 sensors only). This optional accessory kit is required to support fail-open capability on GBIC and mini-GBIC (SFP) ports of the IntruShield sensors listed above. A single kit provides necessary components to support fail-open for single gigabit copper network link (which utilizes two GBIC or mini-GBIC (SFP) ports on the appliance). If customer requires fail-open on more than one link, additional FO kits should be ordered.
