This enables enterprises to meet their throughput and capacity requirements with fewer drives, significantly reducing total cost of ownership (TCO). Seagate designed the Cheetah 15K.5 for maximum reliability in demanding enterprise applications. This hard disc drive incorporates such Seagate-exclusive features as IRAW (Idle Read After Write), enhanced ECC (Error Correction Code) and BMS (Background Media Scan) to safeguard data integrity in the most rigorous environments.
