Overview
The StarTech.com® Server Interface Module for USB allows you to connect CAT5 cables to USB server ports. It extends the functionality of a KVM switch by connecting your computer via its USB port to a CAT5 KVM switch. The Auto Signal Compensation (ASC) of this unit compensates for different distances. It provides high video quality and a resolution of up to 1600 x 1200. The Hot Pluggable feature allows you to add or remove computers without having to power down the switch. With a multiplatform support for PC, Mac, Sun and terminal-based systems, this interface module provides greater reliable and compatibility. This Server Interface module offers a slim design and is an ideal fit with rack-mount and desktop servers.
