Overview
The Dell™ Wireless 5730 Mobile Broadband Mini-Card supports EVDO Rev A. It is capable of a maximum 3.1 Mbps forward EVDO burst rates with average live network downlink rates in the range of 600-800 Kbps. To achieve these speeds the network must support EVDO Rev A technology. This card is also backwardly compatible with EVDO Rev 0 cellular networks which provide a maximum 2.4 Mbps forward EVDO Burst and an average live network downlink rates in the rage of 300-500 Kbps. The Wireless 5730 Mobile Broadband Mini-Card can also use 1xRTT with a maximum rate of 153 Kbps. This product has been tested and validated on Dell systems. It is supported by Dell Technical Support when used with a Dell system.
